This Pitcher is a re-release of a traditional slipware model from The Manufacture de Digoin. Commonly called “Barbotine”, this piece shows the extraordinary diversity of the productions of Pitchers from the mid Nineteenth to the 40’s. In glaze stoneware, the clay slip coating reveals the decorative pattern relief.
